Siglato un accordo con Legambiente per la pulizia del percorso al termine della gara.

Per contrastare l’azione di tutti quei biker maleducati che parteciperanno alla prossima edizione della GimondiBike, in programma domenica 27 settembre a Iseo, il Comitato Organizzatore ha stretto un patto di collaborazione con Legambiente al fine di ripulire il percorso gara da borracce, involucri di barrette e gel energizzanti e quant’altro verrà abbandonato. L’accordo prevede che, una volta partiti i partecipanti, i volontari delle sezioni locali di Legambiente Franciacorta (Castegnato), Legambiente Basso Sebino (Iseo) e Legambiente Circolo Ilaria Alpi (Erbusco) passino a raccogliere quanto lasciato sul tracciato di gara, armati di guanti, sacchi dell’immondizia e attrezzi ad hoc.

Si ricorda che, come previsto dal regolamento vigente, i concorrenti che gettano immondizie al di fuori degli spazi segnati saranno squalificati. Per questo si fa appello al senso civico degli atleti perché utilizzino gli appositi contenitori presenti ai punti di ristoro o conservino i rifiuti nelle tasche posteriori dei propri completi. Utilizzare un mezzo ecologico come la bicicletta significa anche prestare particolare attenzione all’ambiente nel quale si vive e pensare a chi pedalerà dopo di noi lungo il tracciato di gara, accessibile tutto l’anno.

Made an agreement with Legambiente to clear the route after the race.

 

In order to contrast the action by all ill-mannered bikers who will take part in the next edition of the GimondiBike, on Sunday, 27^th September in Iseo, the Organizing Committee has just reached agreement with Legambiente to clear the route of water-bottles, protein bars and energizing gels packagings and everything else will be cast. In accordance with this agreement, after the participants’ departure, the volunteers of the local sections of Legambiente Franciacorta (Castegnato), Legambiente Basso Sebino (Iseo) and Legambiente Circolo Ilaria Alpi (Erbusco) will pass to pick up what left on the route, equipped with gloves, garbage bags and dedicated tools.

We remind you that, according to the regulations in force, the competitors who throw garbage out of the marked places will be disqualified. We appeal to civic sense so that all athletes will use the special garbage cans available at the refreshment stops or keep garbage in the back pockets of their jerseys. If you use a bike, the ecological means of transport par excellence, you should pay attention to the environment you live in, and think of who will cycle after you along the route, accessible all the year round.
